Dr. Dawn Smiley-Byrd, MD is a board-certified endocrinologist with more than 20+ years of experience who has enthusiastically served the Atlanta and North Georgia communities. She is passionate about the integration of a holistic approach with scientifically-sound interventions in order to promote wellness and health on the inside as well as the outside. She understands the role that metabolic stress, hormones and nutrition play on the skin and body; underscoring the importance of tailored treatment plan that takes these variables into consideration.

In addition to her clinical activities, she continues to be involved in teaching resident physicians, mentoring students and collaborating with clinical research investigators at the Emory and non-profit organizations in the area. Beautifully complementing a rewarding career in medicine, Dr. Smiley-Byrd shares 2 vibrant sons with her wonderful husband, travels with friends and completes DIY projects around the home.
